Currently serving as the Director of Seeds Worth Sowing, Zedé plays a pivotal role in organizing and leading initiatives that make a lasting impact. Additionally, she contributes as a houseless prevention program director, actively engaged in the lives of those in need of housing and support in stabilizing themselves.

Not stopping there, Zedé is also a key member of the planning and launch committee for the Meaningful Life Loft, a groundbreaking African American community center, founded by her older sister, Zahnia, set to launch in the heart of South Minneapolis in Summer 2024. This project exemplifies her dedication to creating spaces that uplift, connect and empower the community.

From the age of 17, Zedé has been a driving force behind social disruption and positive change.

As a resource connector and solution-oriented visionary, Zedé envisions a world where communities thrive, particularly focusing on the safety and empowerment of young and vulnerable Black & Brown community members. She brings a unique perspective to advocacy, balancing roles as a mom and a fierce advocate.

A farmer at heart, Zedé co-owns Grand Risings Farm, a local farm business that cultivates organic produce and raises free-range chickens on her farm in Minnesota. This deep connection to the land reflects her holistic approach to community well-being.

While Zedé loves to write and share theories and thoughts on the internet, she thrives on active involvement within her community. She finds joy in supporting and helping people daily, witnessing the flourishing of those around her.

In every role and endeavor, Zedé embodies a spirit of activism, community engagement, and a commitment to creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
